Annual Dinner and Fundraiser
The Annual Dinner and Fundraiser is a fun filled night with dinner, award presentations, a raffle and silent auction. A table sponsorships are available which includes advertising at the Annual Dinner, reserved seating and eight tickets. The venue changes each year. Invites are mailed out in advance. Eggs N Issues
Chamber of Commerce members are invited for a small group discussion with legislators including Representatives Dennis Cohon and Tom Sands and Senator Tom Courtney for a discussion on the issues concerning the Great River Region. Eggs & Issues will help our legislators understand the business community's state and regional issues for the upcoming year. Great River Region Days
Representatives from Southeast Iowa will return to Des Moines and Washington, D.C. to carry legislative priorities for the region to State Representatives, State Senators and key department personnel. Key issues being taken to Des Moines this year include property tax reform, the Ft. Madison Prison, Right to Work, workforce attraction and development and transportation issues. Small Business Appreciation Breakfast
Any business with fewer than 100 employees is considered a small business. Those small businesses make up over 80% of the membership in the Burlington/West Burlington Area Chamber of Commerce.
